Our second annual May Fair takes place on Saturday 21st May 11am-6pm in Ellington Park.

Attractions include:

An Ellington Park History Talk
Steam railway rides.
Stalls (including: Friends of Ellington Park stall)
Face painting.
Children’s Fancy Dress and Treasure Hunt
Refreshments (ice creams and drinks).
Live music.
and Maypole Dancing

Stall pitches are available by contacting 01843 580579

Please note, Activities may be subject to change at the organisers’ discretion

To Volunteer, please contact TERRYand someone will get back to you with details of when and where. Alternately, come to the Friends of Ellington Park stall on the day and offer your help there.

Annual General Meeting Friday 25th February 7-9pm

There will be:
A photographic exhibition of the Park.
Plans for the renovation of the Bandstand.
Diary of events for the coming year.
Update on progress so far and the near future.
Update on the Wartime Tunnels venture.
Update on the memories/archive project.

IF YOU ARE A TEENAGER YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN AN OUTDOOR GYM. IF YOU ARE THE OTHER END OF THE SCALE, YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN MORE BENCHES!

IF YOU VALUE AND LOVE ELLINGTON PARK, PLEASE COME ALONG AND CHECK OUT WHAT IS GOING ON AND WHAT IS PLANNED.

As this is an AGM, the Committee will stand down and, for the most part, will stand again for re-election. Only members of Friends of Ellington Park will be eligible to vote but you could always sign up on the spot!

Ellington Park is beautiful but it could be stunning!

Friends of Ellington Park Christmas Cards on sale now!

We are selling our own cards featuring a very current photograph of a very snowy park taken a few weeks ago.
The cards are on sale at ‘Nice Things’ gift shop, in The Old Customs House, on Ramsgate Harbour.
Please pop down and buy some, they are lovely and you will of course be supporting the work of ‘The Friends’.

If you can’t get down to ‘Nice Things’ then please email Secretary, Pat Scutt (grangeroadscutt@hotmail.com) who will be able to work out another way for you to buy them from us!

Ramsgate Christmas Extravaganza – Saturday 11th December 10am-4pm

The Friends of Ellington Park will be at the Christmas Market this Saturday from 10am – 4pm in Charlotte Square, Ramsgate (behind Corby’s Tea Rooms).
We will be selling our exclusive and beautiful Friends of Ellington Park Christmas Cards. Why not pop down and see us?

Other attractions:
Visit Santa’s grotto and browse the stalls for your Christmas gifts.
Christmas Carol sing-a-long with the Salvation Army Band at 3.30pm.
