I attended the event not knowing what to expect, I was amazed by the turnout and the effort that people had made, many people in fantastic fancy dress and fabulous activities for the whole family. The park decoration was imaginative and really created an atmosphere and also proved that you don’t have to spend much to make things look good. I particularly liked the Mummy on the bench and the balloon ghosts blowing in the wind. Everybody was smiling and seemed to be enjoying the day and the weather was great. For a team of volunteers they did an outstanding job.

Dear Katherine, I am very sorry to hear of your disapointment, we did post our programme on our Website and Facebook as soon as we were able, however we will take the points raised onboard and we will try harder for our next event to get the programme out earlier. This was FoEP’s 2nd event of the year, the first being a Victorian Event in May, the organization has only been in existence since January and our feedback from both events has been incredibly supportive.

What a GREAT DAY! The Ghost & Ghouls Event was fantastic a real Family occassion with something for everyone to enjoy. I thought the park decoration was a lovely touch and something for the Children to get excited about and the Trick or Treat Trail was imaginative. A BIG thanks to those people who gave up their time to make the day special. Very much appreciated when is the next event? Can’t Wait.

We spent the afternoon at the Halloween in the park event with our nephews who had a great time. They had dressed up and went on the Ghost Train. ), We finished the evening with the Ghost Walk and then watched the dancers do ‘Thriller’. All the decorations around the park were fab and fun (well done to all those who made them!!). A big thank-you for all the effort put into it and hopefully there will be other events in the future.

Hello, sorry to have a moan but I have just walked my 2 little girls home from the Halloween event in tears. We arrived at 6.15pm having read that the ghost train and funfair was all day, and the times were 10am – 8pm. The funfair had closed up and was pulling out of the park, and when we got to the ghost train, the man said he was closing up too and couldn’t take my 2 daughters.
They had been looking forward to this all day, and had spent an hour getting dressed up and having their faces painted.
It’s not that hard to publish correct timings for these things, and if you want more people to support your events it is something that will have to be addressed.

I am disappointed that the organisers didn’t pick up dog poo BEFORE the event, there was rather a lot of it in the area surrounding the play area, which some unfortunate families found out about the hard way and were taking home picnic rugs covered in poo!

I am disappointed the organisers didn’t arrange for the picnickers rubbish to be collected after the event.
